What is the accounting rule configuration?
The new accounting rule configuration allows you to centrally manage booking accounts and rules, making them available across multiple studios. The goal is to increase transparency and make all activities easier to track.
This feature replaces the previous manual process of copying booking accounts between studios and provides an automated, traceable solution.
What features does the configuration offer?
The configuration includes the following key features:
- Create a new configuration: Choose between the standard account frameworks SKR03 or SKR04, or base the new configuration on an existing one to save time and ensure consistency.
- Cross-functional activation: Make accounting rules and accounts available across multiple studios.
- Account and rule management: Define specific booking accounts and their associated rules.
- Copy function: Transfer previously created rules and accounts from an existing configuration.
- Editability: Once activated, a configuration can no longer be modified.
How does the activation work?
The activation process consists of the following steps:
- Configuration planning: Create a configuration and set an activation date.
- Preview: Review the planned configuration before activation.
- One-time activation: Only one configuration can be active at a time. Once activated, the configuration can no longer be changed.
What does the change log show?
The change log ensures maximum transparency by documenting all modifications to booking rules and accounts.
- Date and time of the change.
- User name: The person who made the change.
- Details of the change: Such as new booking rules or account assignments.
You can find the change log under: Settings > Finance > Booking periods > Change history.
