Fill in and save rest period data
Idle periods come about for a variety of reasons, but you probably know that better than we do. Therefore, we have the possibility to manage different types of idle periods in Magicline.
All idle periods have one thing in common, they are entered and calculated exactly to the day.
In the member view you will find a tile idle periods and access restrictions, where you can see the idle periods that your member has had so far.
You can then manage the idle periods using the familiar three-point menu.
Create idle period
Via the menu item Create member idle period, a new idle period can be created.
First, the reason for the idle period is entered. Then the exact date of the idle period can be determined. It is possible to create 1 day as well as several months.
Then the type of the idle period is selected. The following are available:
Non-contributory idle period with contract extension
In this case, the time during which the idle period is active will be non-contributory. If the contribution has already been paid in the months of the idle period, a credit note is generated in the corresponding amount and shown in the member account. As soon as further claims become due, this credit is automatically offset. In addition, the contract is extended by the corresponding period and receives there the pro rata contributions of the rest period.
Non-contributory idle period without contract extension
This idle period also generates credits for the idle period. In this case, however, the contract is not extended by this period.
As the last field when creating the idle period, a corresponding idle contribution can be defined. The member does not have to pay any more contributions for the corresponding period, instead an idle contribution is due. This idle contribution is always valid for the entire idle period.
Edit idle period
You can also edit an existing idle period, e.g. if the member wants to leave the idle period earlier. The input is the same as when creating a new idle period.
Delete idle time
Created idle periods can also be deleted. In doing so, all credits in the member account will be cancelled and the receivables will become due again. If necessary, these will then be collected directly during the next collection.
There are currently constellations where deleting a idle period is not possible, e.g. if this would retroactively change a contract although other changes have already been made. This happens only in rare cases. If this happens to you, please contact our support via the support chat, so that we can solve this together with you.
