General
In your loyalty program, your members earn points by performing certain activities. It's up to you to decide what kind of actions your members will earn points for and how many.
You can use this part of the configuration to make your loyalty program versatile and attractive to a wider range of servant members. If you add more activities, more members can find an activity that suits them. Or, you can promote certain types of events by rewarding only certain types of activities with points.
Where do you find the activities?
First go to MySports / loyalty program and select your loyalty program. Then go to the tab Activities.
Create activity
Then click in the upper right corner on Create activity.
-
Internal name: give the activity a name.
-
Add another public name: Check this box if you want to have a special activity name for your members. Otherwise, you can use a name both internally and externally.
-
Description: this is a text field. Use it to explain to your members what this activity is about and how they can complete it. Members will see the contents of this field in the loyalty program overview in the MySports app and on the web.
-
Action type: select what action is behind this activity. You can use predefined actions:
-
Contract duration
-
Number of check-ins
-
Join the loyalty program
-

-
Join an appointment/course
-

-
Action settings and restrictions
This section depends on the action you have selected. Check the details below.
-
Contract Duration: Participants earn points for a contract, which is longer than the minimum duration set in this promotion. This type of activity promotes contracts with a long duration.
-
To complete the activity: how long is the minimum contract period that entitles the member to earn the points. You have to select the value and the time.
-
Value of the activity: how many points the member will receive for completing the activity.
-
Consider the contract period before joining the loyalty program when awarding points—When selected, the member joining the Loyalty program automatically gets points, also for the contract period before the joining date. When unselected, the member starts getting points for this activity after the joining date.
-
-
Number of check-ins: members earn points for checking in at your gym. This activity encourages members to come to your studio. You can set how often members must check in to your studio and how many points they will receive for doing so.
-
To complete the activity, you need to specify how many times members need to check in during a certain period of time to get the assigned number of points. You have to choose the value and the period.
-
Example: 2 per week—means that the member must check in at least twice in the same week to receive points. The activity will be counted after the 2nd check-in in the same week. Then the member will receive the points.
-
-
Value of the activity: how many points the member gets for completing the activity.
-
Maximum of completed activities: how many completed activities are promoted in a period of time. You need to select the value and the period. Members can complete this activity more than once (and receive points).
