Configure signing restrictions & activate
To configure a contracting restriction, go to Settings / Membership signing / Membership signing settings.
The Pre-closing review tile shows your current contracting restriction settings. From here, click Edit contract signing restrictions in the three-dot menu.
First, you can specify whether the contracting restrictions should apply to online contracts, the sales tool, or both.
In the next step, you specify the conditions under which a contract should be prevented for members for whom a dataset already exists*. One or more of the following conditions can be selected:
-
The member has outstanding claims. You can also specify the amount of the claim.
-
The member is in debt collection
-
There is a permanent access restriction for the member
-
There is an extraordinary termination by the studio for the member
Finally, click Save to activate the configuration.
What happens if there are defined restrictions and the member tries to conclude a contract?
If a member who meets at least one of the defined restrictions attempts to conclude a contract online, the conclusion of the contract will not be permitted. Consequently, no contract is created in the Magicline.
The same goes for the sales tool. The employee cannot proceed further in the sales process if at least one of the defined conditions is met for the selected member. By clicking on more information , the employee can also display the exact reason why the contract is not permitted for the member.
