Connection & Types of Interfaces
The connection is made via USB with an integrated virtual COM port. This allows the scanner to communicate directly with the device manager.

Recommended Device Configuration
- Scan the “Set to Factory Defaults” barcode to clear any previous configuration.
After the reset, the scanner might be in handheld mode and therefore won't scan any further barcodes. To proceed with the setup, you must press the trigger button to scan the next barcode:
2. Activate automatic mode by scanning the respective barcode.
3. Scan the barcode for “Data Transmission Format”
4. Enable the Code-ID prefix to transmit the code type correctly.
5. Set the communication mode to “USB CDC Host”.
6. Unplug the scanner and plug it in again to apply all settings.
Support for Screen-based Scanning
If you want QR or barcodes to be scanned directly from screens (e.g. smartphones), you must activate this feature:

Scan the barcode for “Enable Mobile Phone/Digital Display Support”.
