Checking the imported data
If data has been imported into Magicline for you, you will find all important information about the import under Settings / Data transfer / System messages. Specifically, you will be shown which data records need to be checked again by you if the system detected a discrepancy during the import. This gives you the opportunity to make a targeted decision on how to deal with the respective data record.
If you started with an empty Magicline, you can continue directly with the next point.
System messages
By clicking on the description text of the respective system message you can see directly to which member the system message refers and what it is about.
In total you can distinguish two types of error messages: Warnings and information.
If a Warning is displayed, it is important that you check the Check contribution calendar of the imported member and check it again against the data in your legacy system from which you imported the data.
To go to the respective member account to check the data, simply click on the respective Warning and then on Display. In a new tab of your browser you will now see the affected member account. In most cases, it turns out that an import error has occurred because data was already entered incorrectly in the old system in the past.
Important: If you find errors in the old system, please make all corrections there first and not in the new Magicline!
Because in this case it is much more comfortable for you to import your data again after the correction in your old system.
If you can't find an error in the old system, you have the possibility to manually create claims in the new Magicline in the contribution calendar or to cancel / reduce individual contributions as a correction entry.
The hint Info is displayed if an automatic and, in our view, correct adjustment was made during the data import from Magicline 2.0. An action is usually not mandatory, but the adjustment should be checked by you.
Please always remember to check an adjustment that you have already processed system message also to be checked offto distinguish them from undone ones.
If no system messages are displayed, you can proceed directly to the next page.
