Checking the imported data
If data has been imported into the software for you, you will find all important information about the import under Settings / Data transfer / System messages. Here you are shown which data records need to be checked again by you when the system detected a discrepancy during the import. This gives you the opportunity to decide in a targeted way how to handle the respective data record.
If you started with an empty system, you can continue directly with the next point.
System messages
By clicking the description text of a system message, you can see directly which member the message refers to and what it is about.
To open the respective member account and check the data, click the message and then click show or Open member. The affected member account opens in a new browser tab. In most cases it turns out that an import discrepancy occurred because the data was already entered incorrectly in the old system in the past.
Important: if you find errors in the old system, make all corrections there first and not in the new system. In that case it is much more convenient to import your data again after correcting it in your old system.
If you cannot find an error in the old system, you can manually create claims in the contribution calendar of the new system, or cancel or reduce individual contributions as a correction entry.
Filters and search: the list view also provides a category filter (Select category), a type filter (Select type), and a search field to help you narrow down the messages.
Message types
System messages are grouped into the following types:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Warning | Indicates a data record that you should check again against the data in your legacy system from which you imported the data. |
| Info | Shown when an automatic adjustment was made during the data import from the previous system version. An action is usually not mandatory, but you should review the adjustment. |
| Critical | |
| Debug |
Completing a system message
Once you have reviewed and processed an adjustment, mark the system message as Completed. This distinguishes processed messages from open ones.
To bring processed messages back into view, use the Show completed tasks toggle.
If no system messages are displayed, you can proceed directly to the next page.
