Overview and structure
The Communication center bundles everything you need to reach your members. It is grouped into these areas:
- Overview: send messages and follow their status
- Returns: track undeliverable letters
- Messages: serial messages and studio news
- Administration: templates and designs
- Notifications: automatic notification rules and overrides
Sending and tracking (Overview tabs)
Open Communication / Overview. Every message you send passes through these tabs:
- Drafts: messages started but not yet sent
- Outbox: messages queued for dispatch
- Sent: messages that have gone out
- Archive: older, archived messages
- Errors: messages that could not be delivered
Returns
Under Communication / Returns you see letters that came back as undeliverable, so you can correct member addresses and resend.
Messages
Under Communication / Messages you create and manage serial messages (including multi-studio serial messages) and studio news.
Administration (templates and designs)
Under Communication / Administration you manage the building blocks of your communication:
- Templates: reusable letter and email templates
- Designs: the visual layout applied to your messages
Notifications
Under Communication / Notifications you configure automated member notifications:
- Notification rules: which event triggers which automatic message
- Notification overrides: studio-specific adjustments to those rules
