Reasons for shifts not appearing in various views
Magicline offers different views to organize and visualize your staff's work hours. If shifts don't appear in the daily or weekly view, it may be due to specific calendar settings or active filters.
Checking filter and staff view settings
To ensure all shifts are displayed correctly, you should check and adjust the following settings:
-
Filter settings under Appointments:
- Go to Appointments and check if additional appointment filters are active (on the left side under member search) that might be affecting the display of shifts.
- Deactivate unnecessary filters to ensure proper display.
-
Work schedules and staff visibility:
- Check if staff members have their work schedule set to "Fixed Working Hours" or "Flexible Working Hours." Flexible Working Hours can improve visibility in various views.
- Make sure the "Visible in Calendar" option is enabled for each staff member.
Steps to adjust calendar configuration
If the above settings are correct but shifts still don't appear, adjust the calendar settings as follows:
- Click the settings icon next to the view selection in the calendar view.
- In Calendar Configurations:
- Under "Staff View," enable the option "Show only staff in staff daily view who have an appointment/working hours or shifts planned on this day."
- This setting helps display only relevant staff, improving clarity and reducing errors in the planning view.
- Save the changes and review the views again.
Properly configuring these settings is crucial for effective shift planning and correct display of all planned shifts in the Magicline calendar.
