Activating and deactivating Premium Features
To configure your Premium Features, go to MySports / Brand Configurator / Premium Features in your Magicline. When setting this up for the first time, all features are disabled by default.
Click the three-dot menu and select Edit configuration. You can now choose which features to activate for your Branded App.
- Active → visible to your members in the app
- Inactive → not visible in the app
Confirm your settings by clicking Save. The changes will be immediately reflected in your app.
Check-in Statistics & Goals
This feature helps your members set training goals, track their progress, and stay motivated. Right on the home screen of your app, they will see an overview of their current check-ins in the My Training section.
Within this area, members also gain insights into their studio attendance, duration, and preferred training times.
Under the Goals section, members can define how often and on which days they want to work out. Based on their selected goal type and one of four motivator personas (balanced or challenging, male or female), they will receive motivational push notifications.
This feature offers valuable support in building a sustainable training routine and reaching long-term fitness goals.
One-Repetition Maximum Calculation
The One-Repetition Maximum (1RM) is the maximum weight a person can lift once with proper form through the full range of motion. This feature allows members to calculate their 1RM by entering the lifted weight (in kg) and the number of repetitions performed.
The feature can be found in the training section of the app – between the training plan catalog and the training plan archive.
The indicator to the right of the table visualizes the distribution between Maximum Strength (dark blue) and Muscular Endurance (light blue).
- Heavier weights & fewer reps → focus on maximum strength
- Lighter weights & more reps → focus on muscular endurance
We use the average of the following four formulas to calculate 1RM:
- Landers, J. (1985)
- Baechle, T. R. et al. (2000)
- Brzycki, M. (1993)
- Epley, B. (1985)
Plate Calculator
This feature helps your members determine which weight plates to load on the barbell to reach their desired training weight.
When editing an exercise parameter during a workout, the Plate Calculator is automatically displayed.
Within the calculator, members can:
- select available plate sizes
- choose between different bar types (e.g., barbell, EZ bar)
Note: The Plate Calculator is only shown for the following exercise types:
- Barbell
- Hex Bar
- EZ Bar
