- Standard Measurement System (Studio-wide): Go to Training World / Administration / Training Configuration Create a training configuration or select an existing one and choose in the widget for the basic settings for units of weight, speed, and distance between "Metric" (kg, km/h, km) and "Imperial" (lbs, mph, mi) as the default for your studio.
- Individual Adjustment (Trainer): Open the Training Plan Builder. Click on a parameter (e.g., weight) on the units field (e.g., "kg") to change the unit individually (e.g., to "lbs").
Set Global Measurement System
So that your trainers don’t have to change each parameter individually, you can define a global default measurement system for your entire studio. This is especially helpful if most of your equipment uses imperial units (e.g., pounds).
You can find this setting under Training World / Administration / Training Configuration. There is a new option in the widget for the basic settings for units of weight, speed, and distance.
Here you have the choice:
- Metric: (default) Weight in kg, speed in km/h, distance in km.
- Imperial: Weight in lbs, speed in mph, distance in mi.
Your selection here sets the default value that will be preselected when creating new exercises in the training plan builder.
Customize Units Individually in the Training Plan
Even if you have set a global default (e.g., "Metric"), your trainers can override the unit for individual exercise parameters directly in the training plan builder.
When a trainer creates a plan and adds a parameter (e.g., "weight"), a new dropdown field for the unit (e.g., "kg") appears next to the input field for the value.
By clicking on this unit (e.g., "kg"), the trainer can select the alternative unit (e.g., "lbs"). The software saves the selected unit directly with the parameter of the exercise.
This gives you maximum flexibility in case you have equipment with different measurement systems in your studio (e.g., strength machines with "kg" and treadmills with "mph").
