Configure collection of future receivables
The collection of future receivables allows you to collect receivables early, before their due date.
You can find the setting under Settings / Finance / Payment runs. When creating a new payment run configuration, you will be asked for the Collection of debt claims in the future setting. For an existing payment run configuration, the current setting is displayed in the header; to edit it, open the three-dot menu in the top right and choose Edit payment run configuration.
For this setting you can select a value of up to 30 days. This allows you to collect receivables with a due date up to 30 days in the future, based on the collection date. If a value of 0 is entered, the collection of future receivables is not enabled.
Notes:
- The maximum lead time for collecting receivables in advance is a single platform-wide limit of 30 days that applies the same way to all payment methods (SEPA, BACS, and credit card processed via Finion Pay). There is no separate limit per payment method. The value actually configured for a given payment run configuration can be lower than 30 days and varies per studio.
- With MemberCash, collection of receivables via this setting is not possible.
