With the Magicline App, you can view training plans directly on the training floor with your members or create new ones for them. For example, you can also document the training weights of your member during a trial training session so that they can start training immediately after the plan is published.
Creating a new training plan
Open the Members area in the navigation bar at the bottom. Now enter the name of the member of your choice via the search bar, or open the profile of the desired member by clicking on the member's photo if they are already checked in.
Then click on Add in the training plans area.
Choose between a training plan template previously created in Magicline or a blank training plan. In the latter, all information as well as units and exercises must be added.
First, enter a name for the training plan. Then set the duration of the training plan (fixed number of weeks or unlimited) and the training goal. Additionally, the trainer who creates the plan can be selected. You can also add a description to the training plan, which will be shown to the member later in the app.
Adding, duplicating, or deleting training units
After setting all the basic information for the plan, you can define the content, i.e., training units and exercises, in the Units tab.
A training unit is automatically opened and named. To change the name, click in the Name of the Unit field and enter the desired name.
If the training plan should contain more than one unit, click on the Add Unit button to add a new, empty training unit. If the same unit is to be trained multiple times a week, after successfully creating the first training unit, use the Duplicate button on the far right of the bar. All exercises and parameters are then copied again into another unit, allowing the member to train the plan twice weekly in the app.
Accidentally created or superfluous training units can be removed by swiping from left to right.
Adding exercises and setting parameters
Now that the number of training units and their naming are complete, you can now add exercises to them. To do this, click on Add Exercise within the respective unit. Select the desired exercises from your database with a click, so they appear in the selection list.
To simplify the process, you can enter the name of the exercise or filter by exercise or muscle groups, as well as exercise type and training level, just like in Magicline.
If you want to combine several exercises of your choice into a superset, simply slide the slider to the right so that it is displayed in green.
Once you have successfully added the exercises, set the parameters for training the exercise. Click on the exercise once. Select the required parameters, in the case of the cross trainer the duration and the level, and set them according to the training level and goal of your member.
If you want to provide your member with additional information (tips, hints, special features) about this exercise, you can do so via the Trainer Tip, which is also displayed in the app. Additionally, depending on the exercises, equipment settings, such as seat height, can be defined. All this helps your member to train successfully with the new training plan, even without a trainer.
You can find the exercise details including execution, video, and trained muscle group in the Information tab.
With a click on Save, you complete the creation of the training plan, so that the plan is published and visible for your member in the app.
Viewing all the member's training plans
Of course, as a trainer, you can always view all the training plans of your member. For this, click on View All in the training plans area within the member's profile.
In the overview, you now see all the training plans of the member, divided into several categories. In addition, you can see whether or when the plan was started and the date of creation.
With a click on the plan, you can call up all the information again and take a look at the included training units and exercises.
If you want to export the training plan as a PDF document, click on the printer symbol in the bottom left.
