How do the different statuses come about?
Membership contracts can be concluded in various ways. Magicline offers the Sales Tool, the Landing Pages by MySports, or the connection of a website via the Connect API, among others.
Depending on which functions are offered for confirming the contract and thus as well for confirming the direct debit mandate when subscribing contracts, the statuses of the active SEPA mandates differ. They are displayed in the widget for payment methods in the member overview.
The active statuses and their distinctions
The Signed status for a mandate means that a signature was provided either through the Sales Tool or through an online checkout process that includes a virtual signature option like signing on the touchpad of your computer.
On the other hand, the Confirmed status means that the mandate was confirmed and accepted through an online self-service or a checkout process on a website. These platforms typically do not offer the possibility for a traditional signature.
The most important information for you is that both mandates authorize you to make direct debit payment run.
