What happens when a bonus period is added?
When you manually add a bonus period to a member's contract, you can decide whether the bonus period starts at a fixed time or at the end of the current contract period. Bonus periods allow you to flexibly offer your new and existing members a fee-free training period.
When is the bonus period activated in automatically renewed contracts?
You can add a bonus period as part of a tariff under Settings / Contracts / Tariffs / Durations / Payment Method / Advanced Settings.
If you select here that the bonus period starts at the end of the first contract period, the bonus period will only begin after the automatic renewal of the contract. For example, if the customer's contract theoretically ends on 11/30/2022 and is extended by another 12 months on 12/01/2022, the added bonus period will start on 12/01/2022 with the contract renewal.
Where can I view the bonus period?
To get an overview of the bonus period, follow these steps:
- Go to the member overview and navigate to the contracts section.
- Click on the three-dot menu (⁝) next to the contract and select Show Bonus Period / Bonus Periods.
Here you will see all bonus periods that have been granted in the contract for the past, present, and future. By clicking on the respective bonus period, you can view the details of the bonus period, such as length, start date, etc.
