Add another dunning level to your dunning configuration

In this article, you will learn, how you can extend the number of dunning levels in your existing dunning configuration.

1. Navigate in the menu to Settings / Finance / Dunning.
2. Find the existing dunning process and duplicate it.
3. Edit the dunning configuration and add a new dunning level to the copied process.
4. Activate the new dunning process.

To add an additional dunning level to an existing dunning process in your studio, you need to copy the current configuration and then add a new level. Once completed, the new process must be activated.

Detailed Steps

1. First, navigate in the menu to Settings / Finance / Dunning.
2. Find the dunning process you want to modify and click the three-dot menu (⁝) next to it. Choose Copy dunning configuration.
3. Open the copied dunning process and click on Edit dunning configuration in the upper right corner.
4. In the editing window, click on the Add button to add a new dunning level.
5. Create rules for the new dunning level.
6. Return to Settings / Finance / Dunning to see an overview of your dunning system.
7. Click on the three-dot menu (⁝) next to your modified dunning configuration and select Activate Dunning configuration.
8. Choose the appropriate connections for the dunning levels to transfer from the old system to the new one.
