What is the Finance Cockpit?
The Finance Cockpit is a new, central dashboard that offers studio owners and administrators a clear overview of their studio's financial performance. It acts like a personal finance coach by identifying untapped potential—such as missing dunning runs or an unconfigured collection partner. These areas are converted into concrete, easy-to-understand tasks, so-called "Quests." The goal is to increase payment receipts while reducing manual administrative effort.
The goal is to help you:
- Recover more outstanding payments.
- Reduce manual effort.
- Fully exploit growth potential with Finion Financial Solutions.
Your Financial Health Score
At the very top of the Cockpit, you will see your "Financial Health Score," a percentage value between 0 and 100%. This score shows you at a glance how healthy your studio's finances currently are.
The calculation is very simple: The score is derived from the ratio of the tasks you have already completed to the total number of tasks relevant for your studio.
- Fair and relevant: Tasks that do not apply to your studio (e.g., due to regional restrictions) are not included in the calculation.
- Always up-to-date: The score is updated in real-time as soon as you complete a task.
Tasks to improve your finances
The tasks are concrete instructions for action with which you can take your financial processes to the next level. Each task is designed to provide you with the best possible support:
- Prioritization: The tasks are sorted by importance (Critical, Important, Suggestion), and the most important open task is always highlighted so you know exactly where to start.
- Status: Each task has a clear status (Available, Locked, Completed), so you can always track your progress.
- Dependencies: Some tasks build on each other. A task can be "locked" until you have fulfilled another prerequisite. For example, you must first set up a collection partner before you can start a collection run.
- Direct Actions: With the call-to-action buttons, you can often complete tasks with just one click. You will be redirected to the right place in your software to configure settings or activate services.
Important Notes
- Permissions: The Finance Cockpit is only visible to users with finance-related permissions, such as studio owners or administrators.
- Single-studio view: The dashboard always shows the financial data for a single studio only. A multi-location view is not currently supported.
