Prerequisites

• Permission: Manage automatic notifications (category Communication in the role editor under More / Resources / Employees / Roles)

Access Notification Rules

Open Communication / Notifications / Notification rules.

The list shows the configurations shared with the studios selected in the Current facility filter. The configuration that is currently active for your studio carries the Active badge.

Create a New Configuration

1. Click Create configuration.
2. In the Description field, enter a meaningful name so you can easily identify the configuration later.
3. If you manage several studios, click Edit sharing settings and select the studios that can use the configuration.
4. Click Save to create the configuration.

A new configuration does not contain any notification rules yet.

Add Notification Rules

1. Click the configuration in the list to open it.
2. Click Add notification rule.
3. In the Create notification rule dialog, select the Event, the Shipping method, the channel under Communication and the Template, and click Save.
4. Repeat these steps for every event that should trigger an automatic message.

Activate Configuration

1. Make sure you are working in the studio for which you want to activate the configuration.
2. In the list, click the three-dot menu of the configuration.
3. Select Activate for current facility.
4. Confirm with Activate.

The configuration now carries the Active badge and its active notification rules trigger the automatic member communication for this studio.

Good to know:

• Each studio has exactly one active configuration. Activating a configuration replaces the configuration that was active for the studio until then.
• Add the required notification rules before you activate a configuration. A configuration without rules sends no automatic messages.
• You can only activate a configuration for a studio it is shared with.
• The active configuration cannot be deleted. Activate for current facility and Delete configuration are only offered for configurations that are not active.
• Use precise names for your configurations to keep them easy to manage.
