Why do you need to create employees and assign them competencies?
Create your employees to keep them as a resource so you can configure shift scheduling and appointments. If you want to link appointments not only to a device but also to an employee resource, you need to create your employees in Magicline and assign them competencies that you can filter when creating appointment services.
Creating employee competencies
Employee competencies are a term for the device category where employees can be grouped by their competencies.
To do this, first go to Resources in the main menu, then to Employee Competencies and click Create Employee Competencies.
Example of competencies:
- Trainer
- Nutritionist
- Personal trainer
Repeat this process until all your employee's competencies are recorded.
Create employee
To create an employee, go to the submenu "Employee" from the main menu "Resources", click on "Overview" to see all your employees, and then click on "Create employee" in the upper right corner.
A window will appear where you need to fill in all the information.
Then you can add a picture of your employee (from an existing picture or taken with a camera). You have the possibility to assign a color to your employee.
Select all the skills you have previously set up for your employee, and also add your employee's work areas.
In the last step, set the working hours of your employee, so that the system can automatically check if the employee is in the studio at that time. Also, if you want your members to book a class, Magicline must have the information that an employee is in the studio (so that a resource is available for these classes). Therefore, you should enter this exact information.
Repeat the process until all employees relevant to the shift schedule are entered.
You now have the possibility to affect your schedule service to a single employee, but also to a group of employees depending on the available responsibilities.
