Online Contract Withdrawal
Members can now exercise their right of withdrawal for contracts concluded online directly online – without manual processes and without detours via support. Configure the online withdrawal under Settings → Contract Management → Cancellation Configurations. The new withdrawal form is accessible without login via a clearly labeled “Cancel Contract” button on studio and landing pages, separate from the existing cancellation flow. Members identify themselves, select the relevant contract, and submit their withdrawal in seconds. You automatically receive a task in Magicline for processing if the member or the contract to be withdrawn could not be clearly identified. The member always receives an immediate confirmation of receipt for the withdrawal. This ensures full compliance with the new legal obligation for a withdrawal button (§ 356a BGB), which applies from June 2026, and your team is not overloaded with extra work.

Integration of the AI Member Chatbot into the Branded Apps
From now on, members can also use the AI Member Chatbot in the Branded App. Through a simple entry point, studio information can be queried, support tickets created, or member data changed.
New Employee Overview and Deactivation of Employee Accounts
We have redesigned our employee overview for you. It now offers new sorting options, the ability to customize the view individually by selecting columns, and a filter function by employee status.
The new overview also provides two new levels of employee management: deactivation (new) and deletion (old) of an employee. Deactivating an employee account removes it from active workflows while retaining the data for historical reporting. Additionally, the option remains to reactivate the account at any time, saving the need to re-enter data.

Introduction of Accounts for Families and Groups
Studios can now set up and manage family memberships directly in the administration. Under Settings → Member Management → Family Memberships, group sizes can be defined, member types assigned (parent, partner, child, friend), and the configuration linked to specific tariffs. Family groups are managed on the member level through a dedicated widget that displays members, roles, available spots, and a join code. Employees can add or remove members via group code or owner search.
With family or group accounts, contract holders can add additional members to their account within MySports and Branded App & Web and book services for them. Invited members, in turn, can independently make bookings under their sub-account.

Configure External URLs for Your Cancellation and Withdrawal Flow
You can now directly store your own external URLs in your cancellation and withdrawal configuration. Whether withdrawal form or your own cancellation template: configure under Settings → Contract Management → Cancellation Reason Configuration what your members see before submitting a cancellation or withdrawal on the public studio and landing pages. This is especially relevant for operators who must provide their own legally binding forms or for studios in markets with specific documentation requirements in the cancellation or withdrawal process.

Simplified Device Manager Authentication
Authentication in the Device Management Manager is being changed from username and password to an automatically generated token — more secure and easier. Your existing devices will be automatically migrated by Magicline in phases during June; you don’t need to do anything. Afterwards, the setup dialog will simply look different: without fields for username and password. If your studio has internal procedures for device setup, now is a good time to update them.
Redemption of Referral Rewards by Employees
Your member earned a referral reward but doesn’t use the app? No problem. Employees can now redeem rewards from the referral program directly for members via the context menu in the referral program detail view. After redemption, the reward status changes from “Redeemable” to “Redeemed.” This way, all members benefit from the referral program, regardless of whether they actively use the member app.

Payment Overview in the MySports & Branded App
Your members can now view all upcoming, overdue, and paid payments directly in the app. The new payment overview shows at a glance what is due when — for full transparency and fewer questions about debits.
Fixed Billing Schedule
A new billing mode is now available for operators who bill all members on fixed, uniform dates. With “Fixed Billing Schedule,” you define a common billing cycle (e.g., every 2 weeks on Thursday), and all contracts on this tariff automatically align with the same schedule. New members who join between two billing dates receive a pro-rated initial charge and synchronize into the common cycle from the next billing date.

Prepayment of Membership Fees at the Cash Register
Members who want to pay their next fee directly at the counter can now do so via the cash register. Your team can book a payment via EC or card terminal and optionally assign it to a specific future fee, so the member is not charged again when due. If no specific fee is selected, the payment is recorded as an account credit and automatically offset against the next claim. This means fewer detours, faster service at the counter, and no switching to the member account during the conversation.

Automatic Warning for Trial Training Duplicates
We are pleased to introduce a new automatic warning for trial training duplicates. From now on, a yellow warning message automatically appears when the software finds a matching profile with a previously completed trial training for the currently viewed person.
Where is the warning displayed?
Check-in view: As soon as the view for the respective person is loaded.
Member view: As soon as you open the member’s profile.
Important details:
No manual action required: You do not need to trigger the check actively; it runs automatically in the background.
Targeted warnings: To avoid unnecessary messages, the warning only appears when there is a match with an actually completed trial training. All other duplicate cases do not trigger a warning.

Commercial Cash Rounding
For studios in regions where 1- and 2-cent coins are no longer used (such as Australia, Canada, Switzerland, and many European countries), you can now configure intelligent, automated rounding rules for cash payments. This ensures your system perfectly matches the physical coins in your cash register.
