Trainers can now view and manage a class waiting list directly in the app. Two progress bars show how many places are booked and how many waiting-list places are taken, and a trainer can move a waiting member up into the class or remove them from the waiting list, without switching to the desktop. This article explains what trainers see and what you need to configure.

Prerequisites
- The class appointment must have a waiting-list count greater than 0 (DE field Wartelistenanzahl, set per appointment under the Administration tab). If it is 0, there is no waiting list and nothing is shown in the app. [verified:
maxWaitingList > 0on the appointment participant config; UI confirmed 2026-06-25] - Trainers use a current version of the app, with permission to manage classes. [TBD: confirm minimum app version that ships MLAPP-533 + the exact trainer permission]
What trainers see and can do in the app
For a class that has a waiting list, the app shows two progress bars: one for booked places and one for occupied waiting-list places, so the capacity is clear at a glance. From the same screen the trainer can move a waiting member up into the class or remove them from the waiting list, without switching to the desktop.

How to enable the waiting list for a class
- Go to Class scheduling / Class schedule (DE: Kursplanung / Kursplan) and click the class appointment.
- In the quick view, open the Administration tab (DE: Verwaltung) and click Edit (DE: Bearbeiten).
- Set the Waiting list count (DE: Wartelistenanzahl) to a value greater than 0 and save.
Note: this is set per appointment, not once on the class definition.

Good to know
- Moving a member up or removing them from the waiting list in the app uses the same booking logic as the desktop; the waiting-list notifications are unchanged.
- If a spot frees up, the existing waiting-list notification still applies (see the related articles).
