Fast lane
- Open the member's account and go to the card with the tabs Active services and Inactive services.
- In the context menu of that card, select Add contingent manually.
- Choose facility, category and type, enter the quantity, set the validity, then confirm.
Prerequisites
Two permissions are involved. The context menu entry only appears for roles with the permission Book service usage. Saving the contingent additionally requires the permission Manually add contingent. Without the second one the entry is visible, but the dialog cannot be saved.
The service you want to add must also be whitelisted for your role. If it does not appear in the selection, ask an administrator to whitelist it for the facility.
The function is being rolled out with the September 2026 release. If the entry is missing in the context menu, it is not activated for your studio yet.
Add contingent to a member's account
Open the member's account and go to the card that lists the member's services, with the tabs Active services and Inactive services. Open the context menu of that card and select Add contingent manually.
In the dialog, choose the Facility, then the Category and the Type of the service. Enter the Quantity and set the Validity: either an expiry date under Valid until or an expiry term, never both at the same time. For services that work with one, you can also set the Period of use. Confirm to add the contingent.
The change is visible in the member's account immediately, and it is recorded in the member's History as "Benefit contingent manually added".
Limitations
This works for check-in based, usage based, rental based, time based, appointment based and course based services. Bundle based and buddy based services are not supported, the dialog rejects them with an error message.
Contingent can only be added this way, it can't be removed again through this function.
