- Settings / Contract management / Tariff codes
-
Assign code
- Member code → Member data / 1st tile / Change member codes
- Tariff code → Settings / Contract management / Tariffs / Edit tariff

Difference member code ↔︎ tariff code
Codes are used to categorize members. This can be done by a member code, which is directly assigned to the member, as well as by tariff codes. These are stored in tariffs and are automatically assigned to the member when they book the tariff.
If I want to grant discounts to individual members, I can assign them a membership code. I can assign this code to specific products and thus configure the discount.
If you want to grant discounts to all members who sign up for a specific contract, you store the code in the tariff.
Creation and assignment of member codes
We have already described how to create a member code in another article: Create member codes
You can assign the member code in the member data. Click on the three-dot menu in the first tile and select Change member code. Click in the dialog in the field Categorize member, then the available member codes are displayed. Finally click Save.
Creating and assigning tariff code
How to create a tariff code has already been described in another article: How to create a tariff code
The assignment to the tariff is done under Settings / Contracts / Tariffs. Create a new tariff or edit an existing one. There you can assign the desired code in the field Tariff code.
Tariff codes can also be assigned to additional modules. This is done under Settings / Contracts / Additional modules. Create a new additional module or edit an existing one. There you can assign the desired code.
Use in article sales
The codes can be used to influence the prices of product variants. Call the product under Settings / Product management / Products. The product variants will be displayed.
Click on the three-dot menu and select Add price. In the following dialog choose whether you want to add a membership code or a tariff code, enter the code and the desired price.
Click on Save and you will see the different prices including the code.
If you now call up the item Hot&Spicy ED 0.2 liters in the checkout as shown in the example, the original item price of € 7,- will be displayed. If the sale is assigned to a member with the membership code Mitgliedsflat 4.0, the item price is automatically reduced to € 3,-. Likewise, if a member was assigned the code SPA-Flat 25 via the tariff, the price would be reduced to € 5.25.
Conflict processing
If several codes meet, the one that is most favorable for the customer applies. In our example, the member with the codes SPA-Flat 25 and Mitgliedsflat 4.0 would be charged the price of € 3 for the item.
Another example:
- Article price without code: € 10,00
- Article price with membership code 1: € 8,50
- Article price with tariff code A: € 6,00
- Article price with tariff code B: € 7,20
If a member has stored both the membership code and both tariff codes via Tariffs, he will be charged € 6,00. So tariff code A will be taken into account.
Use in member lists
When creating member lists, the parameters member code and tariff code (contract) are available for filtering.
