Create a check-in product
Generate additional revenue with flexible day tickets that are especially interesting for travelers and occasional visitors.
Note: Day tickets only work if you have a check-in system.
To create a day ticket, simply set up a new check-in product:
Go to Settings / Products / and click “Create product” in the upper right, then select Check-in product.
Add an internal name and description. Select the tax type and tax rate.
The offer name is visible to your prospects and should describe the type of offer, e.g., single ticket or 10-visit pass. Later, the customer will see the combination of the defined service title and the offer name, i.e., in our example: Day Pass (Morning) — 10-Visit Pass.
Note: If you want your new day tickets to be visible for online sales, you must tick the checkbox for online booking.
Management
Offers
To sell your day tickets at the POS, click the three-dot menu of the “Offers” tile and then “Add offer.”
Define usage scope: How many times can the customer check in with this product?
Price: The sale price determines the final price for the customer; the item number helps with later accounting.
Usage duration: You can choose between three options:
- Single use: The ticket expires after the access control has been used
- Fixed period: The ticket is valid for a defined period
- Entire day
Item number: Enter the item number here
Validity: By defining validity, you specify the period from purchase when the product can be used.
Restrictions
Here you can set various restrictions for the use of the day tickets.
- Location restriction: Is this ticket valid only at the location where it was purchased or also at other locations?
- Minimum age restriction: Is there a defined minimum age to use this product?
- Time restriction: Define the time period when the product can be used
Online booking
If you want to sell your offer online, click on the “Online booking” tab to configure how it appears online.
Information
Under “Information,” you can enter the name of the day ticket for your customers (e.g., Day Ticket (Morning)). You can also define some parameters such as target group and/or “level.” An individual background image rounds off your online offer.
Details
In “Details,” you should add a description for your potential customers. What exactly is included in the “Day Ticket”? Describe your offer briefly in 1–2 sentences.
Online offer
You can also sell your tickets online via the MySports page. Interested customers can either pay later at your studio or directly online by credit card. The “Pay later” option can also be used by users without a MySports account.
Note: Online credit card payment is only available if you have activated our Finion Pay digital payment service.
In the “Online offer” tile, you can set up your online offers. These can differ from your offline offers.
Enter an offer name, define usage scope, sales price, an item number, and validity period. You can also specify which payment options you want to offer:
- Online payment: by credit card
- Pay later: pay later at the studio
After saving, your offer is available online for your customers. The “Pay later” option is currently only available in the MySports Online Portal, while online credit card payment can also be used in the MySports App.
