- Click on Add product.
- After saving, click on the product and on Add variant.

Difference product ↔ Variant
A product can consist of several variants. It is the article itself, which is then offered in different variants.
Examples:
- Water, sparkling (product) in the fillings 0.2L, 0.5L, 0.75L, 1.0L (variants)
- Energy drink 0.33L (product) in the flavors vanilla, strawberry, raspberry, lemon (variants)
Create product
Under Settings / Product management / Products click on Add product in the upper right corner. Select the locations where the product should be offered, enter a meaningful product name and select the product group. Set the standard tax rate and the tax rate for ToGo sales. If a deposit applies, set the deposit amount, and optionally a deposit tax rate that differs from the product's tax rate. Finally, click Save.
Create variant
Now search for the newly created product in the overview and click on it. The product properties will be displayed. Click on Add variant in the upper right corner. In the dialog, enter a meaningful name for the variant and fill in additional information about the article number and EAN, and set a standard sales price. You can set different prices for individual locations.
If you want the system to automatically track the stock level of the variant, enable Stockable and enter the current stock for the location you are currently viewing.
Assign member and rate codes
You can add different prices for each variant by assigning member and rate codes. This is explained in the respective Help Center articles:
Display in sale
In the sales view you will find the product below the product group. By clicking on it, you will see the offered variants, which you can add to the shopping cart.
