What is a cash flow?
Cash flow is the movement of cash in and out of a business over a specific period of time.
It is therefore all the cash flows in and out of your gym over a given period.
What is in Magicline's cash flow?
When you go to Finance / Tax consultant / Tax consultant portal, you will find an overview of your accounts. The right-hand side is your cash flow. They show the current status of your studio cash flows.
You can choose to display the flows of a past period by changing the month and year at the top of this page. In our example, we see the flows for January 2023.
The flow table summarises the total cash flow by payment type. It is therefore the result of the subtraction between incoming and outgoing flows for the same payment method.
Taking the example of cash payments, the result represents all cash receipts minus all cash repayments over the same period.
Under each means of payment, you will find the accounting accounts assigned to the flows:
- Provision of services: this line concerns transactions related to your customers' subscriptions
- Sales of goods: this line concerns transactions made at the cash desk
What about instalment payments?
If you have created an instalment payment for your customer, only the instalment paid over the period will be displayed in your cash flows.
