Quick guide :

- Under Settings / Membership signing / Membership offers, create the offer that includes your promotional rate
- Add the term and any additional modules
Creation of a promotional offer
You will now have to configure your rate, according to the desired functioning of your promotion. To achieve this, here are a few questions you should ask yourself:
- Is the promotional offer limited in time?
- Is it an offer that renews itself towards a standard offer? Or once the promotion is over, does the offer not renew?
- Does the promotion have to be visible online with a promotional banner?
- Is your promotion age-based?
- It is possible to set up several kinds of promotional offers in the software. Here are the different possibilities.
Promotional rate that switches to a standard offer
Let's take an example. Your BASIC subscription has a 3-month promotion at 9.99€ before switching to its standard 12-month rate at €19.90.
How do you set this up?
- Under Settings / Membership management / Rates, click on New rate in the top-right corner.
- Enter the name of your rate in the window that opens, and save
- Click on Add term
- Enter the promotional term here (here 3 months)
- Under Membership extension, choose Rate change
- Under Select rate and Select term, choose the rate and term to which your promotional offer will then switch
- Fill in the rest of the details according to your wishes for the cancellation period, starter package, etc.
- Save
Now enter the price by clicking on Add payment frequency under the yellow banner.
- Keep the Type as Recurring, the Reference as Period, and Each as 1 Month.
- Enter the promotional price
- Under Advanced settings, check that the configuration corresponds to your wish (pro rata or date to date, standard due date)
- Save
You will now have to create the membership offer that includes this promotional price. To do this, go to Settings / Membership signing / Membership offers, then create a new one at the top right.
- Enter the name of your membership offer (internal and public)
- Enter a description (visible to your online customers)
- Enter an image (visible to your online customers)
- Under Assigned rate, select the rate you created earlier
- Under Membership period, select Restricted and, under Start date and End date, enter the promotion period
- Finally, check the boxes according to where your membership offer should be available for subscription (API from the Advanced package).
Once you have saved, click on the line of your offer to open the details. Now click on the Terms tab to enter the term of your rate. Under Administration and Discounts, you can fine-tune the configuration of your offer.
Your promotional offer is online (depending on the boxes checked in point 6), with a promotional banner. Here is an example in the Sales Tool:
Age-based promotion
You may want to offer an age-based promotion, for example for young or old.
Let's take an example, a standard 12-month offer at €29.90 and €14.90 for 16-18 year olds.
How do you set this up?
- Open the rate on which you want to set up this promotion
- Or create a new rate (see steps below or this article)
- Click on Add term to create a new term
- If your term already exists, then go to 3
- Click on Add payment frequency
- If your standard price already exists, click on the 3-dot menu to the right of your price, then Edit.
Under Age, enter the age range that will have a promotion. You can use "+ Add price" to enter other age ranges.
For each age range, you can enter the promotional price under "Price". - Don't forget to check the information under Advanced settings
Once saved, remember to create your membership offer under Settings / Membership signing / Membership offers. See here how to do this.
Only the standard price is visible when adding the term in the Terms tab.
However, when selling, the software asks for the customer's age:
If you have only changed an existing rate and your membership offer already exists, then you do not need to do anything. The configuration is taken into account automatically.
