Create API keys in the Apple App Store
To make the publication process of our branded app faster and more flexible, we need to access the 'App Store Connect' API. For this, an API key must be created for each of your branded app accounts. This can only be done by the account owner (i.e., you).
To create an API key, follow these steps:
- Log in to App Store Connect.
- Select the appropriate app.
- Navigate to the Users and Access section at the top.
- Then go to the Integrations tab.
- Then go to the Team Keys tab.
- Click on the Add (+) icon.
- Select Management API as the name and set the Access Rights to Admin.
- After creating the key, you can download it by clicking the button on the right Download.
Attention: If you plan to set up additional Branded Apps, you can reuse this key. Please ensure that you store the key in a secure location and do not share it with anyone. Only provide this key to us via the brand configurator, as it grants Admin API access, and if leaked, it could result in security vulnerabilities.

Upload .p8 file in the configurator
After downloading the API key, you will receive a file with the .p8 extension. This file must then be uploaded in the configurator to enable access to the App Store Connect API.
