Create API Keys in the Apple App Store
To streamline and make the publishing process of our branded app more flexible, we need access to the 'App Store Connect' API. An API key must be created for each of your branded app accounts. This can only be done by the account owner (you).
To create an API key, follow these steps:
- Log in to App Store Connect.
- Select the relevant app.
- Navigate to the Users and Access section.
- Then, go to the Integrations tab.
- Next, go to the Team Keys tab.
- Click the Add (+) icon.
- Choose Management API as the name and set the Access rights to Admin.
- After creating the key, you can download it by clicking the button on the right.
Note: If you plan to set up additional branded apps, you can reuse this key. Make sure to store it securely and not share it with third parties. Only provide this key through the Brand Configurator, as it grants Admin API access and could create security risks if leaked.

Upload .p8 File in the Configurator
After downloading the API key, you will receive a file with the extension .p8. This file must be uploaded in the configurator to enable access to the App Store Connect API.
