- Create a Zoom account, or use an existing one.
- In the App Store, open the Zoom app and click Activate now, then log in with your Zoom account and grant access.
- For appointment-based services or classes, set the execution type to Zoom stream.
- To stop using the integration, go to Settings / Integrations / Activated Integrations, select Zoom, click Deactivate integration, tick Confirm deactivation, and click Save.
Prerequisites
Permission: Access to the App Store and Activated Integrations screens (where Zoom is activated) is controlled by a dedicated internal permission for viewing third-party account settings. There's no separate Zoom-specific permission on top of this. If your role has access to that page, activating Zoom itself only depends on your pricing tier (see below), not an additional permission check.
Pricing tier: the Zoom integration is a partner integration and may be limited by your pricing tier or partner-integration allowance. Which plan includes Zoom integration may vary. Check your current plan or contact support for details.
You also need a Zoom account. Create one for free or use an existing paid account. With a free Zoom account, up to 100 participants can join a session and each session is limited to 40 minutes; for longer sessions or more participants, use a paid Zoom plan. See Zoom's pricing page for details.
Activating the Zoom integration
Open the App Store and select the Zoom app, then click Activate now.
This opens a Zoom login page in a new browser tab. Log in with the Zoom account you want to connect and confirm that your software may access it.
Once you've granted access, the connection is created. Opening the Zoom app again from the App Store now takes you to its activated app page instead of the activation flow.
Planning Zoom appointments and classes
With the integration active, your software can automatically create Zoom meetings for your appointments and share the links with your registered members.
For appointment-based services, change the execution type from In the studio to Zoom stream in the service settings. Every future slot for that service is then offered as a Zoom stream, and members are informed during booking that the appointment is a stream.
For classes, you can likewise set the execution type to Zoom stream when creating a class series; each class in the series then gets its own Zoom meeting.
You can also create individual appointments directly in the calendar and choose Zoom stream as the execution type.
How participation works
An appointment with execution type Zoom stream shows two links in the Quick View: one for your members to join, and a separate link for the trainer. Members who open their link before the session starts land in a waiting room. Once the trainer joins and starts the stream, members can enter and watch.
Adjusting Zoom settings or deactivating the integration
To stop using the Zoom integration, or to switch to a different Zoom account, deactivate it directly in your software:
- Go to Settings / Integrations / Activated Integrations and select Zoom.
- Click Deactivate integration.
- Read the impact notice: deactivating removes access to the Open API endpoints, stops webhook events, invalidates the API credentials, removes existing bookings for streamed appointments and classes from the system, and removes existing customer assignments from member profiles.
- Tick Confirm deactivation and click Save.
Deactivating removes any existing streamed bookings and member assignments for this integration; this cannot be undone. If you're unsure whether to proceed, contact support before confirming.
To connect a different Zoom account afterwards, activate the integration again from the App Store and log in with the new account.
