- If members ask, inform them that all receipts are still valid.
Why does the message appear on my receipt?
Your cash register is connected to a cloud-based Technical Security Entity (TSE) from our partner Fiskaly to meet all legal requirements. If the notice "Die TSE ist ausgefallen" (The TSE has failed) appears on a cash receipt, it means that the register could not temporarily connect to the Fiskaly server to digitally sign the transaction.
The most common cause for this is scheduled maintenance on Fiskaly's systems. This is a normal process and no cause for concern.
Validity of receipts and DSFinV-K export
Even if the TSE signature is temporarily missing, all issued cash receipts are still valid. The transactions are recorded correctly in your system.
An automatic process runs in the background, capturing all unsigned transactions. As soon as Fiskaly's systems are fully available again, these transactions will be automatically re-signed. They will then appear correctly and fully signed in the DSFinV-K export.
What do I have to do now?
There is little you need to do. The most important thing is to continue your business operations as usual.
- Perform daily cash closing: Carry out your cash closings daily as usual. This is crucial so that the subsequent signing can be processed correctly and all transactions can be listed correctly in the DSFinV-K export.
- Inform members: If your members ask about the notice on the receipt, you can inform them that everything is in order and the receipt is still valid.
