Cash book and cash statement
The cash book gives you an overview of all income and expenses as well as the cash on hand that was in the cash register at any given time.
You can find the cash book under Finance / Cash registers. There you see all cash registers created in your studio.
Click one of the listed cash registers to see detailed information on the inflows and outflows of that cash register and to run the cash balance calculated by the Software. The current balance is shown in the top right.
Via the three-dot menu you can record deposits, withdrawals and cash counts, and create an export of the cash book. These exports are available in Excel format and as a PDF file.
Tip:
The Cash closing tab shows all previous cash closings of the selected cash register. From here you can also download each cash statement as a PDF, either in receipt format or DIN A4 format.
DSFinV-K and TSS export (Germany)
For KassenSichV compliant cash registers, DSFinV-K and TSS exports are available in the Software.
DSFinV-K export
DSFinV-K stands for "Digitale Schnittstelle der Finanzverwaltung fuer Kassensysteme" (Digital Interface of the Tax Administration for Cash Register Systems). It is a standardised format prescribed by the German tax authorities. It ensures that all transactions of a cash register can be exported in a structured and traceable form for tax audits.
TSS export
TSS stands for "Technische Sicherheitseinrichtung" (Technical Security System). Under the KassenSichV regulation, the TSS stores cash register transactions securely and in a tamper proof way. A TSS export contains all security relevant data of the cash register transactions and safeguards their integrity for tax audits.
Create a DSFinV-K or TSS export
- Go to Finance / Cash registers and select the cash register.
- Open the Exports tab.
- In the top right, click Create DSFinV-K export or Create TSS export.
- Select the period and click Create.
GoBD export for deactivated, non-KassenSichV compliant cash registers
If you used a cash register system that was not KassenSichV compliant before the end of the transition period, you can still create a GoBD export after the system has been deactivated.
Step by step
- Go to Finance / Cash registers.
- In the three-dot menu, click Create GoBD export.
- Select the period for your GoBD export.
- After you confirm the period, the GoBD export is saved to your device automatically as a .zip file.
Notes on the AO and individual cash register records
Under the German Fiscal Code (Abgabenordnung, AO), business transactions must be recorded individually. The so called individual cash register records (Kasseneinzeldaten) provide a detailed overview of every single transaction. They simplify tax audits and help ensure the transparency and correctness of business transactions.

Data acquisition log DEP (Austria)
To create the data acquisition log (Datenerfassungsprotokoll, DEP) for Austrian RKSV cash registers, go to Finance / Cash registers and select Export data acquisition log in the three-dot menu of the relevant cash register.
In the next step, choose the period you want and click Request data export. After a few moments the download of the data acquisition log for your RKSV cash register starts. The export can be created for any period in the past.
You receive an export file in JSON format. Both the format and the content match the requirements of the Austrian tax authorities for data acquisition logs.
