In this article, you will learn how to initiate sales with the cash register

How to do it:
To make a sale, you must first select the Sale menu item. If you have already selected a cash register and created product groups and products, your view should now look like the picture.
On the large area in the middle you can see your product groups in the top bar and below that the products you created in the settings.
On the right side, the current shopping cart of the sale is.
To add products to the shopping cart, simply select them in the overview.
You can also specify in the shopping cart whether it is an in-house sale or an out-of-house sale, so that the VAT can be calculated correctly.
If you move your mouse over a product in the shopping cart, 2 icons will appear. One of them is a percentage symbol. If you click on it, a window will open where you can enter a discount in euros or a discount in percent.
You have the possibility to apply a discount to the entire shopping cart by clicking on the Cart Discount button. In the window enter the discount in percent. Save.
Note: Cart Discount can only be applied in percent.
Delete a product from the shopping cart: To delete a product from the cart, hover your mouse over the product to display the trash icon. Click on it and the product will be removed from the cart.
Adding or reducing a quantity: To increase or decrease the quantity of a product in the shopping cart, click on the + or - symbol below the product in question.
Once all the products are in the shopping cart, you can click on the "Sell now" button. You will then be shown the different payment methods and you can choose one of them.
Important: For all sales, payment by cash or credit card is possible. Direct debit or payment are only possible for your members.
Once you have made your selection, you will be presented with a payment confirmation dialog box and you can complete the sale.
Receipt
A receipt will be created as a PDF document. You can print it if you have a configured receipt printer. After that you are back in the checkout view with an empty shopping cart and can start directly with the next sale.
