Sharing membership signing settings across studios

In this article you'll learn how to share a membership signing settings configuration across studios in a multi-studio setup: you configure the settings once and activate them for the studios you select, instead of maintaining each studio separately.

Fast lane

1. Go to Settings / Membership signing / Membership signing settings.
2. For the configuration you want to share, open the ⋮ menu and select Manage activation.
3. In the Activate configuration dialog, select the studios in the location picker.
4. Confirm with the Activate this facility button (it reads Activate … facilities when you select several). The configuration becomes the active one in each selected studio.

Prerequisites

Sharing is only relevant if you operate more than one studio in the same setup. In a single studio, a configuration is simply activated for that one studio.

Permission: Settings / Resources / Roles / Configure Sales Tool. The read right is enough to open the page. To activate a configuration for other studios, the write right is required both on the configuration and on every target studio.

Opening the membership signing settings

Open Settings / Membership signing / Membership signing settings. This page bundles everything related to the sales tool, contract changes and notifications after contract conclusion.

The configurations are listed with two columns: Name and Facilities. The Facilities value shows in how many studios a configuration is currently active. The configuration active in your current studio is marked with an Activated in this studio label. Use the Current facility selector at the top right to switch which studio's view you are looking at.

Each studio automatically has its own membership signing settings configuration, so there is no separate step to create one. To share settings, you take one studio's configuration and activate it for the other studios.

Activating a configuration for selected studios

1. For the configuration you want to share, open the ⋮ menu in its row and select Manage activation.
2. The Activate configuration dialog opens. It asks whether you want to activate the configuration and lets you activate it for other or additional locations.
3. Select the studios you want to apply the configuration to. Search by name in the Select location field, tick the individual studios, or use Select to select all at once. You can select several studios together.
4. Confirm with the Activate this facility button. The label changes to Activate … facilities when you select more than one studio.

The configuration is now the active membership signing settings configuration in each selected studio. Changes you make to this one configuration then apply to all studios it is active in, so you only maintain the settings in one place.
