Since training plans of members are often similar, the process of creating them can be made efficient and accelerated with the help of the training plan templates. Templates can be selected as a base for members and then customized to meet individual needs.
To create a training plan template, go to Training World / Training Plans / Training Plan Templates within Magicline and click on Create Training Plan Template to start the process.
Note: In order to make training plan templates and catalog plans generally usable, the specification of individual parameters, such as training weight, is omitted. These values will be displayed with a gray background. If you use the template later when creating a training plan for a member, you should enter these values based on individual needs and requirements.
You will now find the saved training plan templates together with the relevant parameters clearly arranged in the list.
Search training plan templates
Within the list of training plan templates you have several search options. You can enter the title of the plan if you know it or filter by several parameters to see the best selection for the member's needs. Clicking on each template will take you to the overview page where you can see all the details, workouts, exercises and parameters of the plan.
Use training plan templates via member profile
From the member profile, under the menu item Training / Training plans, you can choose whether you want to create a new training plan for the member or use a training plan template. After clicking on Select template a window will open where you can choose from different templates in a drop-down menu. According to your choice, the information of the template will then be displayed.
You can set the duration for which the member should train with the training plan individually. With a click on Next, the template is automatically transferred to the training plan construction kit. You can now fill in the individual parameters for the member or make further changes. Then click on Save to assign the training plan. It will now be displayed in the member's profile, on the training plan page and within the MySports app.
Edit training plan templates
If you open a template under Training World / Training Plans / Training Plan Templates, you will get to the overview page. Here you can see all the details, training units, exercises and parameters that you have created for the template. You can click on Edit traning details in the three-dot menu in the upper right corner. Now the usual procedure for creating a training plan follows: First you can edit the training plan details (name, duration, etc.) and then the training units, exercises and parameters in the training plan builder. Confirm your changes by clicking Save - the template will now be updated and displayed in the list.
Deactivate or delete training plan template
You can also deactivate or delete a training plan template using the three-item menu. If you deactivate a training plan template, it will no longer be displayed in your training plan. This means that you will no longer be able to use it for assignment via member profile. However, you can change the status again at a later time via Activate training plan template .
If you want to permanently remove the training plan template from your list, click Delete template. Please note that deleting a template is irrevocable.
