What is contextual help?
Contextual help is a smart new feature in your Magicline that assists you exactly where you're working. Using artificial intelligence, the software recognizes the section you're in and provides relevant information and help articles – without you having to search manually.
How does contextual help work?
Once you activate the help by pressing OPTION/ALT + click, Magicline sends information about your current context (e.g., page, element, language) to an AI-based system. It processes this data and delivers:
- A short explanation (max. 300 characters)
- Up to three helpful links
- A direct link to the support chat if you need further assistance
The help system uses ARIA labels to understand exactly which element you are referring to – for example, a specific input field like “Group Name” in group management.
How can you use contextual help?
- Press OPTION or ALT on your keyboard.
- Click the element you have a question about.
- Wait a moment – Magicline will search for the most relevant information for you.
- Read the answer or click the displayed link to open a Help Center article.
In the future, it will also be possible to ask questions directly through the help menu – for example, via a small question mark icon in the top navigation bar.
Why is contextual help so useful?
- Quick support directly in the application
- Fewer clicks and searches because you’re guided straight to the right article
- Smart answers tailored to your current workspace
- Fewer support requests since many questions can be resolved immediately
What happens if your question isn’t answered?
If you don't find a relevant answer, a direct link to the support chat will be displayed. This way, you can still receive help quickly – without delay.
If you use contextual help regularly, you’ll quickly notice: many of your questions can be answered in no time. Try it out now!
