Quick guide:
- Create a Zoom account at https://zoom.us/signup
For appointment- based services and classes, you can change the appointment execution from "In the studio" to "Zoom stream" in the settings area.
How to activate Zoom
For the installation you need an already created Zoom account. If you do not have an account yet, you can easily create one at https://zoom.us/signup. The connection to Magicline is basically possible with all Zoom accounts, but the normal restrictions apply depending on the price model. You can find more details on this at https://zoom.us/pricing - In particular, the restriction to 40-minute appointments with a free Zoom plan should be taken into account.
You can then open the Zoom app page in the Magicline AppStore and start the connection process by clicking "Activate now". This opens a special Zoom page where you have to log in with the desired Zoom account. For activation, you need to agree that Magicline can access your Zoom account.
If everything was successful, an "Already activated" message should appear on the AppStore page.
How to plan Zoom appointments
With an activated Zoom integration, Magicline can automatically create Zoom meetings for your appointments and also share them with your registered members!
For your appointment- based services, you can change the appointment execution from "In the studio" to "Zoom stream" in the settings area. This means that all future appointment slots for this service will be offered as a zoom stream and your members will already be informed during the booking process that this appointment is a stream.
When planning classes, you can also change the execution to "zoom stream" and then create a new class series in which each class is created as a separate zoom meeting.
In addition, you can also create new appointments in the calendar yourself and select the appointment type "Zoom stream".
This is how participation works
A created appointment with execution type "Zoom Stream" shows you two links in the Quick View: one for your members to access the appointment and a special link for the trainer. As long as the appointment has not yet been started, your members end up in a waiting room. As soon as the trainer joins and starts the stream, the participants can join and watch the video stream.
Adjust zoom settings or deactivate the function
If you no longer want to use the Zoom integration, or if you want to connect to another account, you can follow these steps:
-
-
Log in with your Zoom account at https://zoom.us/signin and navigate to the Zoom Marketplace (https://marketplace.zoom.us/ )
-
There, click on "Manage" in the upper area and switch to "Installed Apps".
-
Now select the Magicline app and click on "Uninstall".
-
-
This will permanently disconnect your Magicline from your Zoom account.
