- Go to: Classes / Overview
- Click on Create Class button
- Add the name of the Class and set up the details for your new class type
Preparation
Before the creation of new Classes, we highly recommend you to set up your Resources in advance. Due to configuration of employees, locations, and equipments, the overlapping reservations could be avoided. Furthermore, the automated planning control could be applied in case of setting of resources.
How to add this
You can find the class management in the main Menu under Classes.
We will focus on the administration of classes
If you click on Sub-menu Classes under Administration and then on Create Class button on the top right section, a new Class type can be easily created.
In the pop-up that now appears, you have to set up some information:
- Assign the name of your Class (e.g., : Cross fit, TRX…),
- Determine the duration of an appointment (e.g., 45 min)
- specify the desired class color (for the class schedule, as a supportive factor for the later orient- and administration)
- Pick a Category from the dropdown list (Categories are mandatory, they are in use for filter functions in MySports.)
- If you want to, you can define a “Target group” to ease the search for the right offer to your customers
- Add a short description, to ensure your customers will know what they have to expect
- Variable 1: By using the Checkbox “Free usage” you can define the class for free. Therefore, all your customer and prospects can sign up without any additional modules or extra payment.
- Variable 2: If you leave the Checkbox “Fee usage” unchecked, the class will need a price adjustment and/or including contingent in the following steps. For now, you just have to define tax rate for this class.
- Online booking approved: If you leave this Checkbox checked, it is by default activated, your class will be available online.
- Confirm and create your class by clicking on “Save”
- All settings made can be changed/adjusted afterwards if required!
Please note: Due to the above action you created a new type of Class, the appointment scheduling follows in the next step.
