General
Employees have fixed working hours in which they are stored as available in the scheduling system. Employee absences can be created for absences such as illness, vacation or training. In addition to the period of absence (full day or hourly), the reason for the absence as well as a more detailed description can be stored.
Overview of all employee absences
In the Resources / Employees / Absences section, a list of all past and future absences is displayed. Here you get a good overview of the absences of all employees at the site and you can quickly add new absences using the toolbar.
Absences for an employee
Within each employee view there is an absences tile, which provides a chronological list of all absences of the employee. In addition to the reason for the absence, you can see from when or until when the absence applies. Using the context menu, new absences can be created or existing ones can be edited or removed.
Creating absences
The create button for absences can be called up from the overview page as well as from the employee widget. In the dialog, the period is first specified as the date range. Via the checkbox "All day" the type of period can be changed and additional hours can be specified. Finally, a predefined reason for the absence is selected and an optional note (e.g. name of the training) is stored.
