Employee break checkout policy
In Magicline, employees are not allowed to check in again for the day once they have checked out. This is an intentional feature designed to ensure proper tracking of working hours. Employees can enter their break times within through the Magicline software by clicking on start break in the time tracking system in the upper right corner.
Correct usage of the time tracking system
Employees must have a shift or fixed working hours planned to use the time tracking system correctly. If an employee attempts to start time tracking without a scheduled shift or fixed working hours, this is considered “wrong usage” of the system. In such cases, Magicline does not support the addition of “should” working hours, leading to potential issues in time tracking.
Effective time tracking and break regulations
If a shift or fixed working hours are added, employees are permitted to track breaks using the time tracking system. Otherwise the option to track breaks will not be possible.
It is crucial to ensure that all employees have their shifts planned and recorded in the system to avoid any complications with break tracking.
By following these guidelines, you can ensure accurate and efficient time tracking for all employees within Magicline.
