Contents
Quick Guide
- Open Members / Select member / Management / Documents.
- Click Upload document.
- Upload the documents.
Prerequisites
If you can't find an area in the sidebar on the left, click the last entry there, More. Use Customize navigation to choose which areas appear directly in the sidebar.
Available from 7 October 2026.
- Permission: Manage documents gives access to the documents of a member, including the document preview.
- Permission: Download documents is required to download documents. It is a separate permission that you assign in addition to Manage documents.
You find both permissions in the role editor under Resources / Employees / Roles, in the category Member management / Administration.
When the Download documents permission is introduced, every role that can create, edit or delete documents receives it automatically, and so do the predefined roles admin, office and counter. Check your other roles and assign the permission to everyone who needs to download documents.

Upload manual documents

You can also add documents manually. Click the Upload document button in the top-right corner.
For each document, you are offered the following options:
- Download document
- Rename document
- Remove document
As always, you reach the options by clicking the three-dot menu at the end of the row.
Note: You cannot find letters to members in the Documents area, but in the communication center. This is the central location for communication with your members.
Document preview
Available from 7 October 2026.
You can open PDF, JPEG and PNG files directly in the member profile without downloading them.
- Open the member and go to Documents.
- Click the row of the document, or open the three-dot menu at the end of the row and select Document Preview.
The document opens in the Preview document dialog. Click Close to close it.
Other file types, for example Word or Excel files, cannot be previewed. The dialog then shows This document cannot be previewed. Download the document to open it in a suitable application. If the preview could not be loaded, click Reload preview.
With the document preview, the three-dot menu offers Document Preview, Download document, Rename document and Remove document. Download document is only shown if your role has the Download documents permission. This also applies to the download button in the dialog when a document cannot be previewed. Without this permission, you can view documents but not download them.
