In this section you can see all disputes and chargebacks. In case of credit card chargebacks you have the possibility to defend these by providing proof of charge. However, Finion Pay automatically posts the chargeback amount into the member account in Magicline including a debt claim of the chargeback fee.
It is recommended that you have a proper dunning process in place to automatically contact the members that file chargebacks.
Please note: SEPA and BACS transactions that are charged back are not defendable.

Payout report
In the following, you will find an explanation of the report and the enclosed transactions that appear in it, especially those that contain a PSP reference. These lines represent processed transactions and contain various types of information:
-
Payment Method: The method of payment is represented by an abbreviation. For example, "mc" stands for Mastercard.
-
Gross Credit: This is the amount of the transaction that was processed.
-
Net Credit: This value corresponds to the actual amount that was disbursed.
-
Commission: These are the fees associated with the chosen method of payment. These can vary depending on the transaction amount, starting at 0.8% for debit cards.
In the overview, you may also find lines without a PSP reference. If the "Modification Reference" column contains an entry like "Transaction Fees May 13 2023", this means that the line represents the sum of the fixed transaction fees for that specific day. Please note that a transaction fee of 0.10€ is charged for every transaction processed, regardless of the transaction's status. This means that if your customer's credit card does not have sufficient funds, this fee will still be charged. The commission, however, is only incurred when actual revenues are disbursed.
File format and tips on how to open it with Excel and other tools
The payout report is provided in a Comma-Separated Values (CSV) format, where each column is separated by a comma. Some programs, such as Apple Numbers and Google Sheets, can directly open this file without any additional steps. However, in Microsoft Excel, you may need to perform a transformation to ensure it is readable. You can refer to this Microsoft help article for detailed instructions on how to accomplish that:
Import or export text (txt) or CSV files in Excel
Furthermore, please note that the file follows the English convention for decimal notation, which differs from the convention typically used in Germany. If you need to change the decimal notation, you can refer to the following instructions specific to Excel:
