Requirements
To use a card terminal in your Magicline, you must activate the digital payment service Finion Pay in your Magicline. Under Settings / Card Terminal, you can see at the top right if you have already activated the service. If you haven't done so yet, you can find all the information here: Activation of the Finion Pay service

If you did not order a card terminal when activating Finion Pay, or if you want to order an additional one, you can find an ordering guide here.
The terminal is delivered with a receipt roll. If you need additional receipt rolls, you can use any 35mm thermal paper.

Register card terminal
To add the card terminal, go to Settings / Cash Registers and select the Card Terminal menu item. Then click on Add Card Terminal.
To set up the card terminal in Magicline, you need to give the terminal a meaningful name and enter the device model and serial number. The model designation and serial number can be found on the terminal housing or packaging.
If you cannot find the device number, please contact your Magicline support.
Linking the card terminal with the cash register
Go to Settings / Cash Register and select the Cash Registers menu. Then select the cash register you want to use with the terminal and click on Edit Cash Register in the three-dot menu.
Next, select your terminal from the card terminal list and save your changes.
To make it ready for use, you need to turn on the device and connect it to the internet. The simplest way to do this is via a Wi-Fi connection. Once the device is successfully linked, the Magicline logo will appear on the screen.
View past transactions and reprint receipts
Follow these steps on the Verifone v400c devices
- Key combination 8 - Press green
- Select transaction from the overview
- Press the printer icon for a receipt copy
Error troubleshooting
If a terminal shows unwanted behavior, such as
- A sale in the cash register leads to an error, although the terminal is turned on and connected to the internet
- The terminal does not respond to sales in Magicline
please try to reset the configuration of the terminal. Follow these steps:
- Do not change anything in Magicline. Ideally, the terminal is already set up in Magicline and linked to the cash register. If this is not the case, please follow this article first.
- Open the admin menu
- For terminal types v400cPlus and p400, press the key combination 9 - Green and enter the admin code 1149.
- For Android terminals, go to the settings and enter the admin code 1149.
- Click on Config and then on Remove. The terminal will restart.
- Once the terminal has restarted, click on Board Terminal and then on your studio name. If your studio name does not appear, please contact our support.
Now the terminal is re-boarded, and the configuration is reloaded.
One-time password for card terminals
In some cases, it may be necessary to enter a 6-digit one-time code to connect the terminal. Please contact our customer service in this case.
