Analytics / Finances / Revenue
General
Just as important as the revenue you generated in the previous months is the revenue you expect to generate in the coming months. The sales development analysis under Analytics / Finance gives you a good indication of how your sales will develop in the following months and also in the coming year.
The most important key figures for sales development are summarized at the top of the analysis. Here you will find not only the forecasted sales of the current month and year, but also the expected sales of the coming month and year, including the growth rates compared to this month/year.
Below you can see the sales in a period of your choice. Your sales to date are the same as in your sales analysis. The turnovers of the coming days and months are based on the future turnovers from premium payments, reductions of receivables or cancellations. In order to present your sales even more clearly, they are structured identically to the sales analysis in three groups: Revenue from Contributions and Sales, Revenue from Fees, and Revenue Reductions.
Revenue from fees and sales
This includes all revenues that you generate from contributions or sales of goods or services. On the one hand, this includes membership fees, flat rates, additional modules, rest period fees and start-up packages. On the other hand, it also includes sales of products and services, revenues from empties and - under additional revenues - manually entered receivables and write-offs of - credit balances in the member account.
Revenues from fees
In this category you will find all revenues from chargeback fees, reminder fees and other fees, such as address determination fees and damages/compensation.
Revenue deductions
This section includes all items that reduce your revenue. These are receivable cancellations, receivable reductions, credit memos, deposit returns, and write-offs of receivables. Receivable cancellations and reductions include all reductions of the various revenues, such as cancellations and reductions of contributions, lump sums, additional modules, fees, but also of sales of all kinds.
Using the small arrow to the left of the revenue group name, you can collapse the category to show you the subtotal. This can be helpful if you want to know how much revenue you have made from fees and sales. The icon at the top left of the table allows you to easily download the data as an Excel file and process it as you wish. The icon at the top right of the table gives you even more options to filter your data or to process it in a different way. This function is especially helpful if you want to view several studios at the same time.
Below the table, your sales are once again displayed graphically as a bar chart or optionally as a line chart, so that you can see at a glance how your sales are developing.
